miss b loves......random photos of Dubai and an impromptu Fashion show.

We packed so much into our visits to Dubai last October and December... As usual I took so many photos! Below are the ones which didn't quite make it into the posts.......

1. What a pretty cappuccino to accompany my apricot tart
    at Le Pain Quotidien.
2. Jumeirah Lake Towers .......reflections in the lake.
3. Colourful new parasols at The Beach ....to rent for the day.
4. Iconic hotels  ...Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach .....
viewed from the metro as the sun was setting.
5. Café Bateel ....cappuccino, sparkling date juice
and an allumette au citron cake.....so tasty!
6. Al Fahidi Historical centre.....traditional windtowers at night.
7.  Local man ..... watching the world go by at the Creek.
8. Traditional ceramics at the Al Fahidi Historical District.
9. A refreshing iced latte at Café Bateel.

1. Vibrant flowers in Jumeirah Lake Towers Park.
2. Cloudless blue skies ....Dubai Marina.
3. Taking a stroll along Jumeirah Beach .....so many starfish!
4. Pretty tables at XVA Art Café.......one of our favourite spots.
5. A great recommendation from the waitress at Eataly .....
    a delicious diplomatico.
6. A traditional abra crossing the Creek .....Old Dubai.
7. Bean bags at The Beach .....the perfect place to relax.
8. Cappuccino art at Leopold's, The Beach.
9. Cute Eiffel Towers, Galéries Lafayette, Dubai Mall.

.....and finally ....during our stay in Dubai in October, the Harper's Bazaar World of Fashion was taking place at the Mall of the Emirates and we were fortunate to get last minute seats at the Kate Spade catwalk show! We all received a pretty Kate Spade fan.....cute!

Time to sit down, relax and plan the next holiday!

  3. So cool that you got to attend the fashion show! A good friend of mine is currently in Dubai and I'd rather be in such a warm place than in cold NYC where I currently am...

  4. Quelles jolies photos !

  6. miss b, first of all, I love that white tea cup and saucer. I've been looking for one just like it. What a fun trip you had! The fashion show looks so exciting. I really like the collage of photos you took - the pink Eiffels, that tasty cappuccino, the cool starfish, the ceramics, and the picture of the local man just watching the world go by.

I am so grateful to go along with you on your trips. It really adds a zest to my day.

    1. Thank you Sheri. So glad to hear that you enjoy following along with me. The cup and saucer is Wedgewood Countryware (formerly made by Coalport) but I don't think they make this design any more.

  7. Ha ha yes I don't doubt for a second that you are not planning your next adventure and its great you're on Instagram now so I can follow along in between blog posts. Your foodie pictures are enough to have me looking through a travel brochure let alone the architecture and views. I love Kate Spade so you were very lucky to get seats at the show and the pretty fan - I haven't read that magazine in a while.

  16. You truly love Dubai Ms B. It's has grand hotels and lots of western cafes and restaurants, I would like to visit it one day. Do you that the Crown Prince of Dubai is on Instagram? He is Sheikh Hamdam but called Fazza. His photos of Dubai are amazing too. He is also a follower of the #MyDubai instagram account. You might enjoy both Instagram accounts.
