My taste in music is certainly varied and I recently discovered French singer, Zaz (real name Isabelle Geffroy) who was born in Tours in 1980. She mixes jazzy styles, French variety, soul and acoustic and is most well-known for her hit single 'Je veux' from her first album Zaz, released in 2010.
Zaz quickly became popular not only in France but the rest of Europe and beyond, performing on TV shows, in concerts and at festivals. Her second single Le Long de la Route is another one of my favourites from the album.
Miss Ilina also likes Zaz! She is comming to Zagreb in June! yey! :)
ReplyDeletegreat , I will def check her other songs . I think it's not a problem I don't understand French because music is amazing. Thanks for sharing, kisses

I disagree with Zaz about two things at least: The Ritz Paris and Chanel (as you might expect ;-) Other than that, I love the girl too, and have been working on a piece about her songs as well. She has an amazing voice and personality. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
ReplyDeleteI had never heard of Zaz before but she sounds awesome!
