During our trip to Dubai last month I decided to return to Level Shoe District, the world's biggest shoe store. (You can read about my first visit here.) This time there were shoe quotes everywhere and I couldn't resist taking photos of a few favourites .......

You may remember from my shoes post here that I'm a shoe addict so.... when I found out during my trip to Dubai a couple of weeks ago that the biggest shoe store in the world had literally just opened, I knew that I had to go .......
Called Level Shoe District, it's situated in Dubai Mall (yes, it's the world's biggest mall!) 

96,000 square feet, 15,000 different styles, 250 brands......It's a shop-in-shop layout with separate spaces for different brands .....and they are all there.......

I have always had a thing about shoes(and handbags!)and I know that it runs in the family too! When I spotted this little book..........

........I had to buy it! If you too are a bit of a shoeaholic then you'll enjoy it........

miss b loves........TOMS shoes and sunglasses

I read about the original TOMS shoes some time ago but recently discovered at Kim's blog that they had introduced gorgeous ballet flats. A quick visit to the TOMS website and I spotted ........WEDGES!

I have always loved espadrilles ever since I bought my first traditional pair from the local village store in Les Eglisottes, north of Bordeaux, during one of my earliest visits (aged 14) to my French friend's house - they were very similar to these .........

Now of course they come in all fabrics and designs including platforms and wedges. I couldn't resist this pair last summer from Vincci in Dubai. I like the neutral canvas, navy and white striped interior and the cute bow at the back .......They have hardly been worn as, once back in the UK, the rainy summer didn't really  lend itself to wearing them........

This year there are florals, stripes, pastels, suede.........and I've spotted a few favourites.....................

I have often been a little wary of wearing animal print - well, too much of it, as in a dress or coat. Last winter, I wore my silk leopard print scarf now and again but having seen some stylish interpretations on the catwalk  I have become  addicted (still only accessories though!)........
