Called Level Shoe District, it's situated in Dubai Mall (yes, it's the world's biggest mall!)
96,000 square feet, 15,000 different styles, 250 brands......It's a shop-in-shop layout with separate spaces for different brands .....and they are all there.......
.....including the beautiful Repetto shop...
Works of art from Dsquared..........
Beautiful displays.........
Trying on shoes has never been so luxurious..........
So what did I buy?.......15,000 styles (how do you choose?).....and..... I didn't buy one single pair! I was looking for a black suede pair with tiny studs but decided not to buy an expensive pair as they are probably just a passing trend........However I did buy these the following day from Suite Blanco ....just what I had in mind.....
and I love the stud detail on the back........
Just a little more subtle than these......
I don't know how long we spent in Level Shoe District that evening (night!) but there was no rush as it was Eid and that meant twenty-four hour shopping in Dubai Mall!!!!!!!
There was even night time entertainment in the mall - dancers in pyjamas performing to Gangnam Style .............only in Dubai!
P.S.Thank you to Pamela from The Style and Travel Journals for nominating me for a Liebster award (my second one!!) What a lovely surprise! It's so good to be appreciated and I shall be answering her questions and passing on the award in my next post.
You deserve the award Miss B. It is always fun and informative to read your blog. I don't blame you for not buying much at the Biggest Shoe Store in the World. It will be very difficult to choose. But you purchased a good style. It must have been fun looking at all of those shoes though.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a place! I would probably spend the whole day in there! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your award! It's well-deserved.
Thanks again for the award, Pamela and your kind words here. Yes it was certainly fun wandering around this amazing store. (I know we were in there a long time!!)
ReplyDeleteWow, I would LOVE to go there! With that many shoes, it would be a bit overwhelming though lol! I love the pair you got!
ReplyDeleteIncroyable ! Certaines chaussures ressemblent à de vrais bijoux !
ReplyDeleteOMG This is the paradise!!
ReplyDeleteXoxo
I'm. In love with the sparkling golden shoes, I bet it was a difficult choosing situation for you but I love your pick are simple, and actual but you can stop wear them after the stud attack!

ReplyDeletePity that store wasn't open when I visited Dubai! Looks amazing!

Amazing shoe selection. I think it's proven that the more choice you are given, the less one is able to choose. It must have been a very inspiring experience though.
ReplyDeleteLUXESSED
Hi Miss B,
ReplyDeleteI found your blog via a aomment that you left to "Rainbow Gatherer" to Gokce. I love your blog and I'm your follower hereafter:))
Thank you - a lovely surprise to see that I have a new
Deletefollower.
Aaaarghgh. Too much choice! I get overwhelmed when faced with too much and tend to just walk away. I remember when I used to choose paint colours - give me the Dulux colour spectrum chart thingy and I have a meltdown. Give me a Farrow & Ball chart - job done. How did I end up talking about paint colours? Your shoes were a good and sensible buy - I don't tend to spend much on something which I don't think is going to go the distance.
ReplyDeleteYes I have the same dilemma with paint colours and then I buy those little match pots - cream is the worst one - so many different creams!!
