love to shop bag via NOT ON THE HIGH STREET |
Even a shopoholic like me can find shopping at this time of year a chore.....the crowds, queues, cold and rain just take away most of the pleasure .....You can't beat shopping in comfort, even in pyjamas, scented candles lit, glass of wine......browsing the internet... finding unusual gifts....
...and here are a few great ideas I found this weekend.....a tea towel perfect for a blogger friend who is never without a camera.....
via la cerise sur le gâteau |
This cute mug cosy is hand knitted in Ireland using the palest of cream Aran wool...........
via Etsy |
I like to give gifts that I would like for myself (this is not a hint!) and Neom candles have such a relaxing fragrance.....in a travel case .....perfect after a long flight.....
via |
Charity gifts are always a good idea and every year at Oxfam there are new ways to help communities.......this one will help women to gain business skills and set up a cooperative.......
see all the Oxfam gifts here |
......I wish I could show you more of my finds but that would spoil the surprise for family and friends who read my blog!!
Now I couldn't write a post on internet shopping without mentioning bobochic, could I? So I've selected just a few products that I'm sure you'll like and which you are unlikely to find on the high street.......
.....all beautifully wrapped........
and.............. there's a 10% discount off all products for all readers and FREE WORLDWIDE DELIVERY too!! Just enter the code STYLISHGIFTS at the checkout (the code will expire on Saturday 8th December 2012)

I am not buying online, not shure how is that thing going to look when it finally arrives...And I hate shopping in malls, hate...
ReplyDeleteI like accidental shopping, when I accidentaly find something that I don't need but I like...So stressfree! Ilina
I've always been very happy and satisfied with my online purchases but I do always read the descriptions carefully and good photos help. I also like to support local businesses too.
DeleteYes, online shopping is so much easier this time of year! Love the tea towel, so sweet! xo
ReplyDeleteLike you I love to shop this way! I really must try those candles you mention xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Miss B for the mention on your blog. I love the clutch, scarves and those jewelries from your store. I will check them out. Have you also seen the website of The Magical Christmas Wreath Company? They have fabulous wreaths and candles. Internet shopping is really convenient. I enjoy it too. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recommendation - I haven't heard of that company.
DeleteSuperbes idées.... très classes!!!!
ReplyDeleteJ'aime bien aussi cette façon de faire les cadeaux de Noël sans stress ni bousculades!!!!
Belle semaine et merci pour ce partage d'infos!!!!

ReplyDeleteI so agree!! shopping in PJ's is the answer :))
ReplyDeleteMary x
Im sooooo with you! I ve been NOT shopping for a while but online shopping its such a temptation! nothing beats my couch, pjs and some tea.... LOL!
ReplyDeleteShopping online is the answer no doubt, not only to comfort, but practicality (I've two small boys). We're also trying to shop more local and small businesses this year, so etsy and online boutiques (like yours!) are a very easy solution. Thanks for the ideas!
ReplyDeleteI agree shopping in your pj's should be recommended. Love the tea towel
ReplyDeletecute!
ReplyDeleteI have already started a little on line shopping! It's SO much easier than wandering around the shopping center with all the crowds. Ideas and links.. a wish list is always helpful from family members - nothing worse than buying something that someone doesn't want.
ReplyDeleteThe cashmere pashminas are gorgeous. I have one (not cashmere) that I wear frequently in the winter. So many great ideas here! The towel, the darling mug, and those candles sound lovely.
Have a great week ahead!

miss b, i'm an online shopper too! it's the best way to shop! i can't stand a lot of crowds. for some reason my brain just stops working when there are a lot of people around! hahaha i did not even know you had an online shop!!! where have i been? your items are exquisite. i see you ship world wide and i wanted to send a couple of things to a blogger in Canada. Should I order through the site or send you an email? I'll probably place the order this weekend. Thanks!

The tea towel with the camera made me smile because it reminds me of myself. My camera is my friend, and I try to always have it with me. What a cool gift this would be. The amber pendant is gorgeous and very unique. These are such wonderful gifts for loved ones.

I always forget to look at Not on the High Street and they always have something a bit eclectic and a bit more unusual. Some really nice picks and there is something quite relaxing about clicking the buttons at home rather than getting stressed out at the shops. Sometimes, I get a bit click happy even :o)
ReplyDeleteI love scented candles and Neom smell fab! That Aran mug cosy looks so cute:)

That is exactly the way I like to do my shopping!! and those candles are perfect :) xA
ReplyDeleteI rely on online shopping more and more now. I really don't have the patience to shop in store unless it's a boutique shop or something similar. I simply cannot do malls or large department stores. I LOVE the tea towel - I've sent the link to my husband as a little 'hint hint' xoxox
ReplyDeleteLovely gift ideas! I'd love the candles.
ReplyDeleteEmma xo
Hi Miss B
ReplyDeleteI like to do a mixture but I know exactly what you mean about crowded places. It gets manic in London at this time of year.
Love your gift choices especially that tea towel.
