Easter is the time for sweet treats - the sweeter the better for me! Why does chocolate seem to taste even better when it's egg-shaped?.........
I found these cute Easter-themed cupcakes at Hey Little Cupcake Cupcakery and Tea Room in Manchester on Easter Saturday. Delicious flavours and amazingly light texture....maybe I should try one of their classes!
Egg Nest cupcake with a vanilla custard centre |
Creme Egg cupcake- so creative! |
Of course Easter would not be complete without a bowl of Cadbury Mini Eggs - once you eat one you just can't stop........
Lindt milk chocolate is another favourite and buying a few little gold bunnies has now become an Easter tradition in our house......
Imagine my surprise on Good Friday when I saw this giant gold bunny outside Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet.
and finally .....this video made me smile......
Happy Easter!
Loving the creme egg cupcake idea! I will be eating lots more before today is out:)

Hope your Easter was a lovely one. I indulged in a few too many Easter treats! xo
ReplyDeleteI got one of those Green & Blacks eggs, I ate half yesterday and I'm so tempted by the other half right now! I don't like hot cross buns but bought some of the Heston Blumenthal ones as my family were visiting, they really liked them.
ReplyDeleteI ate too much candy this Easter - almost felt a little sick afterwards, haha! How come one doesn´t notice it´s too much until too late?! :-D
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures and lovely candy! Easter is a good excuse to eat too much, which I certainly did, but I could try some of those nice cupcakes... Ilina

Creme egg cupcakes!! I'm speechless! I HAVE to figure out how to make these! :)
ReplyDeleteMe too - I'd love to be able to recreate these. There was even a mini creme egg in the middle of the cake too!
DeleteAhhhh, hot cross buns are my favorite. They remind me of my dad. He passed away over 20 years ago, and I always remember him loving hot cross buns. I wish I had one to go with my tea right now. I am with you on the chocolate. I enjoy it so much, especially Lindt.
