There are so many Christmas traditions I enjoy and I suppose one of my favourites is making our home look festive. The tree in the lounge is similar to last year, mainly burgundy and gold with special baubles we have had for years......
.....including those that have sentimental value...........a wooden one we brought back from a trip to Bethlehem a few years ago ........
... this cute cracker ........
......and favourite sparkly heels...........
........with a few giant cones (collected a few years ago in a forest in France) and huge candles in tall glass vases to create a simple, uncluttered look............
and baubles with sparkly lights in a storm jar........
The bits and bobs for the Christmas table are almost ready.......
Now all we need is a sprinkling of snow...............
and finally..........
Merry Christmas to you all!
I'd like to thank you for visiting my blog throughout the year. Thank you too for the wonderful, supportive comments. I appreciate all who have followed from the start and those who have joined along the way. Have a lovely, relaxing Christmas and....... I'll be back in 2013.
