TWG Tea Salon and Boutique is a tea-lover's paradise! We discovered it during a shopping trip in Dubai Mall next to The Waterfall.....
Established in Singapore, they now have a number of branches including one in the Harrods store, London and I can never resist a good cup of tea.......
Alexandria tea infused John Dory |
Baked apple in vanilla and Earl Grey infused sauce |
We both agreed that this was one of the best meals we have had recently......fresh ingredients and subtle flavours (with no overpowering tea flavour at all)..........and the price included either a hot Red of Arabia Tea or my choice...a refreshing Iced Fruit Mountain Tea..........
Our knowledgeable waitress was so helpful and professional, not to mention patient as we took some time reading through the vast range of teas.........
Of course how could we leave without trying the speciality macarons..........
On the left..... Grand Wedding Tea, Passion Fruit and Coconut and on the right Napoleon Tea and Caramel........amazing flavours!
Finally a quick tour of the tea boutique.......
So many teas! |
Perfect gifts |
.......tea scented candles, tea infused chocolates and the most beautiful teapots...........
A packet of tea to take home...........
and we'll have to return again and again.....
.......as there are so many more macarons to try......
.....Bain de Rose Tea, Earl Grey and Chocolate, 1837 Black Tea and Blackcurrant, Moroccan Mint Tea.................
i well know this place...i live in dubai for 5 months! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing! I love all the colourful tea holders in the boutique! The food looks delicious also. Definitely on my list of places to visit when I get back to Dubai sometime:)

Macarons, tea, a little shopping...what more could you ask for!
ReplyDeleteOh wow the food looks amazing! Another place to add to the must visit list! x
ReplyDeleteBonjour miss b. I love this place. Tea-flavored food and drinks throughout. How fun! That dessert pear and the iced tea look very tempting to me. I may even try a macaron (even though I am not a macaron lover...) You do get around, don't you? :-) I am afraid the food displayed on my blog this week is not as... appealing or tasty, alas! Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pictures. Just looking at them makes me hungry. Looks like a very delicious meal that I would like to try some day. It would be very hard to choose from the huge selection of TWG teas. Then the Macarons are to die for! :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that place looks wonderful and the food looks amazing! I really want to try that baked apple!
ReplyDeleteWow this place must be great. I have never been to a tea salon, this is quite an experience.

ReplyDeleteThose tea canisters at the top are so pretty! Such a pretty post and perfect for the cold day we are having. I've tried to drink more tea and less coffee when I crave a warm beverage.

Looks so tasty! I've tried the teas when I was in Singapore but not the food. I obviously missed out.
ReplyDeleteThat's such a coincidence..I happened to be at the Dubai Mall yesterday morning and we came across this exact place. I remember pausing outside of it, trying to convince my husband to enjoy tea there (with no luck) but I made a vow to go back there one day. Great and stylish, as you have captured it.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to visit Dubai just to visit this place alone! Everything looks so yummy and colourful!

ReplyDeleteWhat a cool place. OMG my daughter and I would have a ball in here!! I am currently on the search for a tea that doesn't interact with Coumadin. It's been a challenge. Locally, I love Teavana - they seem to have the best quality teas around here. xo

I shall contact you with some suggestions. There are many good ones. I like the tea room/café in the Liberty store and I enjoyed an excellent modern afternoon tea at Bea's of Bloomsbury.
DeleteI'm a total tea aficionado so this place sounds perfect. Their tea infused savories and sweets look delectable! I feel like I need to stop into Harney & Sons for a spot of afternoon tea now :)
