Mulled wine, candles scented with cinnamon, orange and cloves, mince pies, Christmas music - the perfect ingredients for an afternoon decorating our Christmas tree............
Last year's burgundy and gold theme brought lots of compliments and it coordinated well with the décor so I decided to stick with this colour scheme but mix things up a little. Each year I can't resist adding to our collection of decorations and this year was no exception! I just had to buy some glittery court shoes........
I love to hang modern decorations next to old favourites - a sparkly shoe next to our very special wooden tree ornament which we bought a few years ago whilst visiting Bethlehem.
More shoes to add a touch of glamour and sparkle! |
If only they were my size! |
Almost finished .........
The tree is up! |
and our traditional (and now very old!)
fairy is on the top!
Favourite decorations around our home..........
