During a recent trip to Germany mr b found these delicious alphabet cookies in a supermarket in Munich.
They are called ABC Russisch Brot which translates as Russian Bread. I was curious about the name but after a bit of detective work I found an interesting story here at delicious days .
I decided to have a play around with them (munching on a few at the same time - it's a wonder I had enough letters left to make up all these words!) Not only are they great fun (and educational!) they taste amazing - crunchy, light and made with caramel and cocoa.
A great idea for children's parties too.....table settings....
The possibilities are endless........ or of course they are just delicious with a cup of tea!
Be warned! They are very moreish! Eat one and you'll want to finish the packet............
If you would like to try to make your own (!!) you can find the recipe here at delicious days.
I've not yet come across them in the UK so please let me know if you spot them......
